Reclaimed Yard in Clinton, NJ
We took on this very challenging property for a great family that needed some room to entertain in Clinton, NJ! Our landscape vision was to terrace a previously unusable, steeply-sloped side and backyard to create several living spaces using natural flagstone and boulders. Water runoff protection was a constant concern for these homeowners and we were able to minimize their concerns by well placed plantings and carefully planned and executed drainage and grading. A walkway comes from the drive down several steps to a casual sitting area for everyday use, morning coffee etc. This area connects down a series of steps to a lower entertaining area which is larger and set down into the hillside for increased privacy. There are natural plantings with subtle LED lighting throughout so the family can now enjoy this property day and night.
